NGO ratings
NGOs with Transparency, and projects compatible with stated objectives

N-AAA: An NGO rated N-AAA must have fully described objectives. Its projects and actions must be fully compatible with its stated objectives and have full Transparency as well as systems in place for Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER), on a project-by project basis. Projects and actions and their expected goals are pre-established and are not started without minimum requirements and credible financial timetables.

N-AA: An NGO rated N-AA is basically the same as AAA, except that it has a generic objective with no specific pre-determined projects, or it wishes to have the liberty to start projects from existing funds. However, such projects must be compatible with its stated objectives.

N-A: An NGO rated N-A has Transparency and goals compatible with its stated objectives. It has Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting systems in place, but lacks formal periodicity.

N-BBB: An NGO rated N-BBB has Transparency and goals compatible with its stated objectives. Its Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting, although existing, should improve the objectivity.

Non-Transparent NGOs

N-BB: An NGO rated BB has the capacity to be upgraded, provided it improves its Transparency and MER system.

N-Q: An NGO rated N-Q cannot be qualified based on the above principles
